NOTES: The file NWCALLS.DLL that was shipped with some versions of
the OS/2 requester failed to include certain functions that BMR uses.
The DLL included in the distribution ZIP file is from the Novell's
developer kit and has the functionality BMR needs. We suggest you
use the DLL included here (saving the original file) if BMR fails to
function. If the DLL in use is not current enough, BMR will fail
immediately and report a trap-like condition.
IMPORTANT: Replacing a DLL is not always as easy as it seems. If your
station is running the requester, the file NWCALLS.DLL will be in use
and you won't be able to replace it. To solve this, we suggest you:
1. Make a directory on C:\ called BMR.
2. Copy all the BMR software into this directory, including
the NWCALLS.DLL file.
3. Edit c:\config.sys and modify your LIBPATH so that in includes
"C:\BMR", and so this appears before the NETWARE directory.
For example:
LIBPATH=.;C:\OS2\DLL;C:\;C:\OS2\APPS\DLL;C:\NETWARE;
would become:
LIBPATH=.;C:\OS2\DLL;C:\;C:\OS2\APPS\DLL;C:\BMR;C:\NETWARE;
^^^^^^^
You will then need to shutdown, then reboot your machine before
the updated NWCALLS can take effect.
